Question:
- The Fluke BT5xx Battery tester is not connecting to the Fluke Battery Management software when connected via usb cable.
The BT5xx software just hangs and nothing can be selected.
Answer:
It seems that the serial ports Intel SOL and/or serial over Bluetooth are blocking the communication when these are enabled.
In the example below the two ports , Serial over Bluetooth COM3 and COM4 are disabled and then the communication is working again :
The other port intel SOL com port looks like this (here it is COM3) :
Please check if you have these ports in your own pc or laptop and disable these ports and check if the communication to the battery-tester is working again.
