Question:
The Beha ES-Control / Fluke DMS and Fluke TruTest software seem to have the same functionality. Whats the difference between those software?
Answer:
Fluke TruTest is our new database and report software for PAT and Installation testing and will replace Fluke DMS and Beha ES-Control entirely.
There won't be any further updates on DMS and ES-Control in future (latest version is DMS 1.9, ES-Control 2.9).
TruTest has a fresh, modern look and is running on a SQL-Database.This ensures that the software is running fast, smooth and without many of the compatibility problems of Microsoft Access, that Fluke DMS and Beha ES-Control were programmed on.
If you have an existing database in Beha ES-Control or Fluke DMS you can import it into Fluke TruTest when installing the software (the database has to be version 2.5 [ES-Control] / 1.5 [DMS] or above).
Future Updates for Fluke TruTest will include several new supported product groups, new functions and a network solution.
For an overview of the different versions of Fluke TruTest please have a look at the datasheet.
