The newly designed PLS laser level hand tools will come with either AA battery packs (PLS-BP5) and/or rechargeable lithium-ion packs (PLS-RBP5) that can be removed and interchanged.

These battery packs are compatible with the PLS 3, PLS 5, PLS 180R/G and PLS 6R/G.
Removal of the battery packs can be done by pressing down on the tab located at the top of the battery pack where it connects to the body of the tool. Do this while pulling the battery pack away from the unit.
