RPTLoad version 2 PC Software is the replacement for RPTLoad version 1 (old DHI freeware) and is used to write or read Fluke “RPT” sensor characterization information stored within a product or sensor using the RS232 port.

It works with legacy DHI products and newer models like PM600 and PM630 measure modules. The old version of RPTLoad does not work with PM Modules.

Download the below zip file and read the file named "RptLoad2 for Auth Svc Providers 20200413.docx"

More recently, there are now multiple versions of coefficient files. The base file always has a ".v01" file extension and the file name always start with the serial number of the transducer. For example "SN104342.V01"

The newer coefficient file names are now appended at the end with an underscore and then an A or P character. The file name with appendage take the format of  _P.v01; _P!.v01; _A.v01; or _A!.v01

The below matrix shows which file to use with different models of equipment:

To use RPTLoad, the instrument's COM1 interface must be set to 1200, N, 8, 1 (Baud rate, Parity, Data bits, Stop Bits) and then it must be placed into factory Diagostic Mode.  For most DHI products this accessed by pressing and holding both the [ESC] and [+/-] keys while powering on the instruments. Hold for about five seconds then release the [ESC] key followed by the [+/-] key. The PPC4 process is different. Press and hold both the [<] and [>] arrow keys while powering on the instrument. Then use the rotary knob to select the RPTload menu. Press Enter.

To choose the file to upload to the device, leave the "Serial Number to load: " entry box blank. If you type a serial number in this entry box, then RPTLoad will search a particular folder for the .V01 file (and may not find it).

Choose the menu path: Setup > Upload from File

Then navigate to the location with the .V01 file that you want to upload to the device.

Wait for software to load the file.  The “Header Information” and “Coefficient Information” should have values show up.

When then file is fully loaded a message at the bottom will appear confirming “Coefficients written to RPT successfully”.
