The 4322 comes with a standard USB cable.  The USB cable has a 1394 connector
(Calibrator connection) on one end and a standard USB connector on the other (computer
connection).  The USB interface emulates a virtual com-port (VCP) on a computer running Windows XP
(SP3), Windows Vista or Windows 7, 8, and 10 operating system.

To use the USB interface for remote operation, a driver needs to be installed on the
computer.  The driver is included in Windows but you must use the identification file on
the CD that came with the 4322 to enable the Windows driver.  If the CD is not available the driver can be downloaded here.

The USB VCP communicates at 115200 baud, 8 bit word length, no parity, 1 stop bit
(“115200,8,N,1”). These settings are fixed and cannot be changed on the 4322.
