Applies To: All baths
Problem Description: What steps and chemicals should I use to clean my bath?
Resolution/Work Around:
Here are a few steps to take when trying to clean a bath.
- Drain the fluid from the bath. If the fluid is too thick and will not drain, the fluid will need to be scooped or ladled out.
- Wipe out the remaining fluid with simple paper towels, no solutions added.
- Spray or wipe on Dow Corning OS-2 Silicone Cleaner and Surface Prep Solvent, let soak, and wipe surface before it dries, repeating if necessary. If OS-2 Solvent is not available, we will use Ethanol in the same manner.
- Wipe down the tank with a dry paper towel to make sure all fluids are removed.
- Let tank dry for an hour.
