Q: I have noticed when I have it do a “zero cal”, I consistently get the message that says it was turned on less than 30 minutes ago regardless of how long the warmup has been.  I checked the clock, and it does not seem to be running.  I tried to set the clock and it wants me to unlock the unit. Should I break the seal and set the clock for it to start up or is this a battery problem?

A) Resetting the clock will fix any issues with self cal timing problems.

It will not change anything else and will allow the calibrator to operate correctly until the next time it is serviced (As long as it remains powered on)

If the unit is shut down, it may loose the time and date again and the process would need to be repeated.

Note: to set the date information the cal switch will need to be in the enable mode.
