MDA 510 & 550 Using the USB cable:

USB cable supports the downloading the following parameters using Flukeview2 software:

Active Screens (Waveform Data), Setups, Replay, ScopeRecord and Trend Plots.

The Flukeview2 software Logging and Remote Control function works as well.

MDA 550-III Using the USB cable:

USB cable supports the downloading the following parameters using Flukeview2 software:

Active Screens (Waveform Data), Setups, Replay, ScopeRecord and Trend Plots.

The Flukeview2 software Logging and Remote Control function works as well.

 

MDA 510 & 550 Using a thumb drive supports the following parameters:

32GB thumb drive is the largest memory size that is compatible.

You can save .CSV files related to Waveform files, ScopeRecord files or Trend Plot files and open in Excel or Flukeview1 software.

Save Screens as .BMP files. The screen shots are pictures with no raw data points associated with the files.

Motor Drive Report feature can be saved to Internal memory but not able to download it until you copy the file to a thumb drive. When you copy the file to a thumb drive you get a .FVS file that can be opened by Flukeview2 and it opens all of the screen shots you saved in that Motor Drive Report. You also get multiple .PNG files for each screen you saved in the Motor Drive Report and you do not need to use Flukeview2 version 3.1.0 or greater.

MDA 510 & 550 WiFi ability:

The MDA 550 does not have the WiFi feature.

 

MDA 550-III WiFi ability:

Using WiFi you need to plug the WiFi to USB adapter into the standard USB port located on the bottom left edge of the Scopemeter and then push the Fluke Connect button   to verify the WiFi is On or Off by pushing the F1 button.

When using the WiFi feature you can connect to your Smartphone, Tablet using the Fluke Connect App and download screen shots as .JPEG files.

Using WiFi feature with Flukeview2 offers the ability to transfer Active Screens with data.

Flukeview2 Log function, ScopeRecord and Trend Plots are not permitted using the WiFi connection, you need to use USB cable.
