Fluke T5 and T6 Electrical Testers use permanently attached test leads with removable probe accessories. If the test leads become damaged, worn, or otherwise require replacement, the complete lead assembly can be replaced.

 

Replacement Test Lead Assembly

The Fluke T5-RLS Replacement Test Lead Set is the replacement lead assembly used with the following testers:

  • Fluke T5-600

  • Fluke T5-1000

  • Fluke T6-600

  • Fluke T6-1000

  • Fluke T6-1000 PRO

The T5-RLS replaces the complete red and black test lead assembly attached to the tester.

Replacement Test Probes

The test leads terminate in removable 4 mm probe connections, allowing compatible Fluke probe tips and clips to be installed depending on the application.

Common options include:

The T6-1000 PRO is supplied with a black AC285 SureGrip alligator clip for use as a ground/reference connection when required.

 

Accessory Compatibility

Many Fluke test probes and clips use a standard 4 mm interface and may physically connect to the T5/T6 probe leads. However, physical connection alone does not determine whether an accessory is appropriate for a measurement.

Always verify that the probe, clip, or other accessory:

  • Is designed for use with the test lead connection

  • Has the appropriate voltage and measurement-category rating for the application

  • Is in good condition with no damaged insulation, exposed conductors, or excessive wear

  • Is used according to the instructions supplied with the tester and accessory

The measurement safety rating of the complete setup is limited by the lowest-rated component being used.

Test leads and probes are safety-critical components of an electrical test instrument.

Do not use test leads or accessories that are cracked, cut, excessively worn, or otherwise damaged. Before making measurements, inspect the tester, leads, probes, and accessories and make sure their ratings are suitable for the circuit being tested.
