This Article is about: How to connect the 190 Series III Scopemeter to FlukeView-2 software via WiFi

Turn on your Fluke 190-III Scopemeter and plug in the Wireless USB Dongle (DWA-131) into the USB port located on the left side of the meter.

Press the Fluke Connect button on your Scopemeter. You will see a display indicating that the WiFi is ‘ON’ and there is a WiFi Password on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

With your laptop or PC, view available wireless connections. You should see something similar to 190-xxx-III-Serial Number. Select that WiFi network and enter in the password from your meter.
You only need to type out this password once as your laptop will save the password for future use.

Open the FlukeView-2 software, v3.0.0 or greater, and you should see the word “Detecting” on the upper left corner of the software. If you have successfully connected to the Scopemeter’s WiFi then you will connect to the software and see your meter model number where ‘Detecting’ used to be.

Now you can open and view saved waveforms/recordings, analyze the data and create reports.
