Question:
- My Fluke 710 opens the valve completely and will not close and the message "reverse acting valve detected" appears
Answer:
Check the firmware if it is 3.08. If so then the 710 needs updating to 3.091.
An issue with reversed acting valves was fixed in release 3.090.
How to check the firmware; turn the 710 on and the firmware version will be shown in de center of the display.
For upgrading the 710 will have to be send in to the Fluke Service Center, the upgrade can only be done in a Fluke Service Center.
