Question:
- My Fluke 173x Power Logger is not connecting to the Fluke Energy Analyze Plus software when I connect my unit to the PC via the USB cable. Nothing is appearing in the selection field of the FAE+ software:
Answer:
Most likely there is no USB driver installed, or the USB driver installation has failed.
This is how you can solve this issue:
- On your PC in the folder structure C:\Program Files (x86)\Fluke\Energy Analyze\inf you will find the USB drivers that you can install on your PC
- Please check in your device manager if you see a device appearing with problems when connecting the 173x.
In the list of ports in the device manager of windows a 173x should appear something like this :
- Use the drivers from the described location above to perform a manual installation
- Check if the Remote NDIS device is loaded properly :
- It is a default Microsoft driver that should install automatically.
Try to update that driver with the drivers in the energy analyze folder.
- This should normally fix the connection issue. If your connection remains broken please contact Technical Support.
