Before you begin...

These instructions are for registering Fluke MET/TEAM software. Your MET/TEAM Product Code(s) are required, ensure you have them before continuing. These Product Codes were included in your MET/TEAM packaging. Update for MET/SUPPORT Gold members: as of the MET/TEAM version 2.1 release, the MET/TEAM re-registration process now also supports using your MET/SUPPORT Gold number.

Gold support members that are transferring licenses from MET/TRACK to MET/TEAM or upgrading to MET/TEAM Express, please follow the Additional Instructions for Gold Members at the bottom of this article.

Steps to register MET/TEAM software

Part 1 - Generating the License Request

1) Launch MET/TEAM either by clicking a desktop shortcut if you have one, or by opening your browser and navigating to the MET/TEAM address. If you receive one of these prompts, click the Register button.

If neither prompt appears, log into MET/TEAM and click the Help > About menu item.

2) When the About MET/TEAM window opens, click the Register icon.

3) When the Register page that opens, verify the information is correct in the fields on the left adding or editing as necessary.

4) Review the info in the "Product Codes" grid on the right.  If blank or any product codes are missing, click the Add button under Product Codes and enter a MET/TEAM family "Product code" that you received from Fluke and then click “OK”.

NOTE: There are three types of  MET/TEAM family "Product Codes":
Master Product codes that start with an "M", one of these is issued per order and using this will include all sub Product Codes issued at the same time.  If there have been multiple orders over time, you may have more than one Master Product code to associate with your MET/TEAM registration, this is normal.
Sub Product Codes that begin with a "P", these are the sub codes included within a Master product code and are rarely used.  If you need to convert from using an M code to using partial P codes, contact SoftwareSupport@FlukeCal.com so we can assist with getting your licenses reset in our licensing system to allow the change.
MET/SUPPORT Gold Product Codes that begin with a "G".  These are issued when MET/TRACK based licenses are converted to MET/TEAM based product licenses as a benefit of your MET/SUPPORT Gold subscription.  Information on how get G codes is included at the end of this article in the "Additional instructions for Gold members" section.

  • If you received a “master” product code and want to apply all sub codes, you can use the master (M) code, and skip adding the individual "Sub Product Codes" (P) associated with it.

  • If you are re-registering MET/TEAM for any reason, you can enter any one of your previously used Product Codes (or your Gold Number) and all previously registered licenses will be included in your new response.  However, this will NOT result an all previously used Product codes being displayed in the grid in the future.  For this reason we suggest you add all previously used product codes so they are visible in the future. 

If you have more than one "Product code" of any type (M, P or G), repeat this step as many times as needed to enter all of your "Product Codes".

5) Next, click the Generate Request icon to open the Register window.

6) Click inside the large license request text box to automatically select all license request text as shown below, then right-click on the highlighted text and select Copy.

Part 2 - Emailing your License Request to Fluke

1) CLICK HERE to open a new License Request email to Fluke.

  • Confirm that the email is addressed to: licenserequest@flukecal.com
  • In the email Subject line, replace 'YOUR COMPANY NAME' with the real name of your company.

2) Click anywhere within the email body, press Ctrl+A to Select All, then press the Delete key. The email body must be entirely blank before proceeding or your license request will fail to automatically process, delaying your response.

3) Right-click within the email body, then Paste the entire License Request text copied earlier into the blank email body. Include the '--- Begin License Request ---' line, the '--- End License Request ---' line, and all text in between.

4) Send the e-mail to licenserequest@flukecal.com. Within 15 minutes or less, you will receive back an email with instructions on how to enter the registration codes into MET/TEAM.  If you don't receive a response within 1 hour, contact softwaresupport@flukecal.com or call +1 (877) 355-3225 for software support.

Part 3 - Apply your MET/TEAM License

1) Repeat step one in the "Part 1 - Generating the License Request" instructions to return to the MET/TEAM software's About MET/TEAM page and click the Enter Registration Code icon.

2) Remember to paste all of the registration code info into the Enter Registration Code window. Include the '--- Begin License Request ---' line, the '--- End License Request ---' line, and all text in between.

IMPORTANT: all registration codes must be entered and processed at the same time. Do not attempt to process them individually, it will not work.

3) Click the Save button and the Enter Registration Code page will close. Your MET/TEAM session will be terminated automatically. When you log back in, your registration data will have been updated.

Additional instructions for Gold members

Follow these steps to obtain MET/TEAM Express Licenses or to transfer MET/CAL licenses for use with MET/TEAM. The steps to transfer MET/TRACK-based licenses to MET/TEAM-based licenses only need to be completed once.

CLICK HERE to open a pre-formatted email with the information detailed below.

  • Email the following information to: licenserequest@flukecal.com
  • The Subject of the email must be Gold Request
  • The email body must contain this information
      1. Your MET/SUPPORT Gold number:
      2. First and Last name:
      3. Company name, state/province, and country:
      4. Email address to receive product key code:
      5. Attach the most recent MET/TRACK license report in .pdf format.

    Example:

    Fluke will process your request as quickly as possible but please allow a few days. Each request must be processed manually to ensure we provide you with the correct configuration based on your current setup.

    Once your request is processed, you will receive an email from licenserequest@flukecal.com with the subject of MET/SUPPORT Gold Product Code containing your product activation code and instructions.
