This is an analysis of sources of uncertainty for defining pressure with the FPG8601. This technical note is written to help metrologists understand the influences on measurement uncertainty when using an FPG8601. It is also a predictive uncertainty analysis for measured pressure based on worse case or typical influences, product specifications of system measurements and typical environmental conditions. The document briefly describes the traceability of the FPG8601, ways to reduce uncertainty and some information on the special challenges of measuring low pressure precisely.
