How to completely uninstall MET/CAL

Below are the steps to uninstall MET/CAL..

The steps below show the 'typical' locations for MET/CAL's files, but these may have been modified when MET/CAL was installed so keep this in mind.

1. Open windows Add / Remove programs (Installed apps)
2. Locate the “Fluke MET/CAL Client” and use the ellipsis […] and select “Uninstall”
3. Follow the prompts and when finished, ensure no more “MET/CAL” entries show in “Installed apps” and if they do, “Uninstall” them as well
4. Now open Windows file explorer and ensure the following folders are deleted:
   1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Fluke\METCAL\
   2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Fluke\METCAL Editor\
   3. C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Fluke\
   4. C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Fluke\
   5. C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\
   6. C:\ProgramData\Fluke\ (DO NOT DELETE this folder if you are on the computer hosting the MET/TEAM or MET/CONNECT websites)
5. Search the hard drive for any copies of metcal.ini and delete or rename any that are found.
6. Now open Windows Registry editor and ensure these keys are deleted (You may have to get your IT / computer support team to help with this):
   1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Fluke\
   2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Fluke Calibration\
7. Close all applications and restart the computer
